EAST LINTON TO DUNBAR
Preston Mill, east of East Linton
Situated close to Prestonkirk, this 18th century working mill is set beside the River Tyne. The mill is looked after by the National Trust for Scotland. It was used commercially until 1959.
Dunbar Castle
Overlooking Dunbar Harbour and surrounded by sea on three sides, the picturesque remains of this medieval castle reflect its important position during the battles between the Scots and the Angles. Shortly after Mary Queen of Scots left the castle in 1567 it was destroyed under the orders of the then Scottish Parliament.
